How To Make Money Writing And Selling Ebooks On Ebay

Among the better selling commodities on the internet are electronic books, or eBooks.

Ebooks are, well, books that can be read and enjoyed, albeit, in digital format. They often come in the form of a .pdf file, readable via Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded for free.

Ebooks are also one of the better selling items on eBay.

Put one and one together and you’d immediately know that you can make money writing and selling eBooks on eBay.

Nay! You can make LOTS of money writing and selling eBooks on eBay.

Ebooks belong to the general category of information products. Information products, though they initially give an intimidating impression, are very easy to create. Being blessed with some writing prowess would most definitely help you out. But basically, only two things are needed with information products:

Information which is sellable; and
A good grasp of the written language

You would need to have information which people would want to have. Information is a commodity on the Internet. What you know may prove very valuable to other people.

Do you know how to make money by recycling a variety of things, for example? Most certainly, you’d have interested buyers for such information. Or maybe you have some recipes that friends and family have adored for so many years. There is an audience for that as well.

You can opt to write your own eBook, or, if you don’t have the time or if you’re not that confident with your writing skills, you can always outsource the creation of an eBook to freelancers who are experts in such a field.

You can indeed make money writing and selling eBooks on eBay in a variety of ways. Here are some of the popular business models you can pursue:

Sell personal rights to your eBooks. This means that only the buyer can use and enjoy your information products.

Sell master resale rights to your eBooks. This means that the buyer will also receive the right to resell your eBooks. You can sell such eBooks for a higher price, given the fact that you will also be providing an income opportunity for the buyer.

Sell private label rights to your eBooks. PLR will allow the buyer to alter, modify, change and even brand the eBook as if he was the creator thereof. Information products with PLR can command a good price because they do not only award an earning opportunity, they also grant intellectual ownership to the wielder of the rights.

Transform your eBook into an audio book. This can easily be done with the help of a good USB microphone and a software program for recording and manipulating the quality of voice input. Add some appropriate background music and you’d have a fantastic product that people will love!

Transform your eBook into a video product. This doesn’t work for all kinds of eBooks. Only educational eBooks can be converted into videos with ease. Instead of describing how a process should be carried out, show your buyers the step-by-step procedure by recording yourself with a good video capturing device.

Before you start to make money writing and selling eBooks on eBay, you must take heed of this warning: eBay has prohibited the sale of digital products. To go around this rule, you should sell digital products stored in physical media such as a CD or a DVD, and merely provide your prospects the option to download the digital version of the item immediately after payment.

There are few online earning opportunities that are as easy and as rewarding as when you make money writing and selling eBooks on eBay. It is a business model that absolutely deserves serious consideration from people who want to establish highly profitable income streams on the internet.

3 Tips To Make Money Selling On Ebay By Buying Right

Today’s difficult economy has generated some changes in the formula to make money selling on eBay. In some cases eBay sellers are finding it more challenging to successfully make the sale. In other cases sellers are seeing sales growth in-spite of economy. But what are the secrets? How can some sellers achieve success on eBay while others fail? In this article I present 3 tips to make money selling on eBay by buying right.

1) Make money selling on eBay by first recognizing how informed your target buyers have become. As a group eBay buyers have always been pretty well informed. They know a great deal about the products they seek. In fact, they often know much more than the sellers. They also know the right price to pay; at least the right price for them to pay.

2) Your challenge as a seller is to conduct thorough market research before you attempt to sell. While there was a time when almost anything could be sold, that is not the case in today’s marketplace. You must thoroughly research not only the market niche, but also the products you’d like to sell. Fortunately the eBay site offers a wide assortment of tools to make that search much less challenging and difficult, even for the newest of sellers.

3) To make money selling on eBay requires buying the products you sell at the lowest possible prices. Many of the most successful sellers knew this fact from early in their selling careers. They invested the time and effort to locate wholesalers, manufacturers and distributors offering extremely low pricing during the better economic times. In today’s marketplace you must join them. You can no longer count on luck as a way to offset bad buying. You too must do the work to locate those special suppliers offering products for pennies on the dollar.

If your plan is to make money selling on eBay in today’s market environment, focus on locating quality suppliers who will reliably provide the products you seek at low, low prices. Only then are you positioned to generate huge volumes of profitable sales. Only then will you be able to say you make money selling on eBay.

To your eBay success!

Making Money On Ebay – Real People, Real Stories And Real Fortunes Made Possible By The Internet’s Biggest Auction Site

A lot of people are wondering whether or not they can really make money on the internet. These people should be directed to the stories of people who are not only making money on eBay, but who are actually making a FORTUNE on eBay.

Ebay, of course, is the World Wide Web’s biggest auction site where sellers can put up items and visitors can either bid on them or purchase them outright if there is a Buyout (BO) price.

But to think of eBay as a mere auction site would be quite myopic.

The truth is this: eBay is a highway towards unlimited wealth for people who know how to navigate its system.

Let’s look at the story of David Wirtenberg who is making money on eBay using the convention auction setup. David sells engagement rings that are usually purchasable at $700 to a high $5,000. However, whenever he starts an auction over at eBay, he starts with the price of 99 cents. It’s an excellent way to win people’s attention – by giving them the lowest price possible. David admits that sometimes, he does lose money following this model, but often, he makes a killing by rousing up the competitive fire amongst the bidders. David is making money on eBay to the tune of around $10 million per year.
Setting up auctions isn’t the only way of making money on eBay, however.
An eBay account can even become a rich commodity itself.

Take the case of Jay and Marie Senese, a couple who are very popular amongst the denizens of eBay for having the highest feedback rating in the history of the auction site. By selling over quarter of a million CDs for a cent each, they were able to amass feedbacks that other sellers can only dream of. How did they capitalize on what they had? They sold their account for a whopping $5 million!

Tiffany Tanaka invented a new system of making money on eBay. She targeted people who always wanted to sell their stuff on eBay but who haven’t started trying for one reason or another – either they didn’t know how to proceed or they didn’t have the confidence that they’d succeed. Tiffany gathered consignments from her external website and sold the entrusted items via her eBay account, with a little markup of course. Her total sales to date: an impressive $2.7 million.

A lot of the internet marketing superstars today use eBay as an extension of the official online stores. And there are even offline merchants who have decided not to create websites for their real world businesses. Instead, they have chosen to use eBay as the online extension of their brick and mortar shops.

Making money on eBay isn’t limited to a specific business model. You can sell your own product. You can buy an item for a lower price and sell it for profit. You can find a drop shipper and act as a broker for its goods.

The methods of making money on eBay are as diverse as the ideas that people nurture.

But one thing is beyond doubt – eBay is a goldmine for people who know how to dig.
